Lambert David Boomgarden 78, died January 15, 2012 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Lambert was born on September 2, 1933 in Oregon, Illinois to Lambert & Edna (Berger) Boomgarden. He married Norma Jean (Reitzell) Bellows in Oregon, IL on March 20, 1964. Lambert graduated from Oregon High School and was employed for many years at Myers Excavating and E.D. Etnyre. Lambert is survived by three step-sons; Tex (Gig) Bellows of Oregon, Lloyd (Carol) Bellows of Oregon, and Tom (Mary) Bellows of Rochelle. He was blessed with 5 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Norma, his parents, his sister Jean, and a brother John. Interment will be at Mt Zion Cemetery, Oregon, IL. Family graveside services will be held at a later date.
