#1 Mary Jane Laughlin McConnell 2012-02-07 14:59 So dearly remember "Buzzy" Melges-as we all called him during his earlier days. Harold was such a neat-unique man. He was so much fun-and enjoyed the friendship of my older brother Pat Laughlin. We lived across the alley from the Melges family during the years that I "grew up". My sincere condolences to his family. Mary Jane Laughlin McConnell (Grad'63) Quote

We are so sorry about Buzz passing. If he could have lived well it would have been great. We know he has gone to be with the Lord and will be well there. We have enjoyed knowing Buzz and will miss his high fives. You and Buzz have enriched our congregation.

#5 Bill Geffrey 2012-02-13 12:05 Buzz became my friend just prior to kindergarten and has remained so for 65 years. So many memories and even rooming together during a stint at Univ. of MN. I was privileged to overnight with Buzz and Norma about five years ago. Same Buzz. Fresh memories. I will miss you, my friend. My deep condolences to Norma and family and my best wishes that you will carry many, many good memories from your time with Buzz. Quote
