Our thoughts and prayers are with the Michel family during this difficult time.  Morgan will be missed by all who knew him.  He cared so much for young people and was so instrumental in shaping their lives.  It was a pleasure to compete against him when he was at Grinnell and at Riverdale, but even better to have him as a member of the Byron wrestling program staff.  A loss for all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Bo and I are deeply sorry. Morg was so much fun to work with At Riverdale High School. We lost contact with you, Kathy, but always smile when we reminisce about those days. Our hearts go out to you and your family.

Morgan great teacher and generally good guy. He laughed readily and enjoyed the students. A gentle giant is how I will always remember him.

I remember Mr. Morgan from my time at Riverdale High School.  He was a great wrestling coach and teacher and I have many fond memories of him in both roles. May his rewards be great.

on 05/10/18 condolences.  I so fondly remember your dedication to the Arthritis Foundation in Rockford when I served as the Branch Manager and the news of you and your husband's growing family.  Morgan was quite a human being and leaves a marvelous legacy for you and Evan.

May the promise found at Isaiah 25:8 bring some comfort in the death of Morgan R. Michel.  "He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces." Just imagine, no more pain and grief due to the death of a love one! By means of the Kingdom that Jesus Christ taught us to pray for, God is going to remove sickness, old age and death from the human family.

Mr. Mitchell was a great coach and man.  I really enjoyed playing for him.   One wrestling practice he picked me up and put me in a cradle while he remained standing.  It was amazed at his strength.  I remember him having a great sense of humor and being very patient with all of us.  I will be praying for the family.
