Andra Jean Parker (Henderson), age 89, of Dixon, Illinois, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 21, 2026. She was born on September 15, 1936, Andra lived a life marked by unwavering faith, hard work, compassion, and love for her family. Her relationship with Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life and guided her through every season. She was a faithful member of Foursquare Church in DeKalb, where she found fellowship, encouragement, and opportunities to serve the Lord she loved.

Throughout her life, Andra enjoyed a variety of careers that reflected her outgoing personality and caring nature. She worked as a tour bus driver, delighting in meeting new people and helping others create cherished memories. She also worked in real estate, where her warmth, integrity, and dedication helped many families find a place to call home.

Anda had a special love for animals and found great joy in caring for them. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart extended to both people and animals alike. She was known for her kindness, her welcoming nature, and her ability to make others feel valued and loved.

Above all, Andra treasured her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willard Parker, and her cherished grandson, Colton Parker. Though she deeply missed them, her faith gave her comfort and hope in the promise of eternal life.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Gaylen Parker, and daughter-in-law, Cherie Parker; her granddaughter Cortney Parker; and many extended family members, friends, and fellow believers whose lives were touched by her love, wisdom, and faithful example.

Andra leaves behind a legacy of faith, perseverance, compassion, and unconditional love. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with loved ones who have gone before her and is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A Private funeral service and burial will be held. A memorial fund is established in Andra’s name for the Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, Illinois.
