Arlene J. Riedlinger

Arlene J. Riedlinger, age 91, of Mt. Morris; formerly of Leaf River passed away on Monday January 2, 2023 at Pinecrest Manor. She was born on April 11, 1931 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Henry and Ella (Morrison) Tiedmann. She married Edmund Riedlinger on December 1, 1968 in Downer’s Grove, IL. He passed away on July 14, 2005. She worked many years as a waitress at 4 Lakes Restaurant in Lisle, IL. She loved spending her summers gardening and visiting the resort in Lake Villa with her family. She was a huge Notre Dame fan. Arlene enjoyed raising dogs and was a pet lover. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Byron. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Henry. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 from 10:00 – 10:45 AM at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 506 W. Merchant Street, Byron, IL 61010. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Byron with Father Rich Rosinski officiating.
