Barbara Jacobs

Barbara J. Jacobs, age 58, passed away at home on February 27, 2022. She was born on February 20, 1964 in Rockford the daughter of Don and Eloise (Roberts) Fisher. She married Barry Jacobs on March 14, 1985. Barbara worked for Kable Printing in Mt. Morris for many years prior to it closing. She was a fan of watching old western films on TV and loved feeding the birds and squirrels at her home. Barbara was a collector of bells and Coca Cola merchandise. She loved vacationing in the mountains and spending time with her dogs Milo and Missy. But, the most important thing in her life was spending time with her family. She is survived and missed by her husband of nearly 37 years, Barry of Oregon; son, Michael A. Jacobs; and siblings, Wayne Fisher and Teresa Horner and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Chad Fisher and Donnie Fisher. A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday March 11, 2022 at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home in Oregon. Memorials are established in her name.
