Barbara Jean Vogt

Mt. Morris, IL – Barbara Jean Vogt, age 94, died Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at OSF St. Kathrine Hospital in Dixon, Illinois. She was born May 10, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Herman and Elsie (Stolting) Ellerbrock. Barbara graduated from William Taft High School in Norwood Park, IL. She married John Dean Vogt on February 10, 1951. He preceded her in death in 2020. Barbara was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was known for taking care of the elderly and her family. She was predeceased by her parents and 2 sisters Bernice Rogulia and Laverne Nabel. She is survived by her 3 sons: Terry (Denise) Vogt of Oregon, Illinois; Mike (Vickie) Vogt of St. Charles, Missouri; and Jeff (Julie) Vogt of Inverness, Illinois; 3 grandchildren: Jena Vogt, Jessica Vogt, and Jeffrey Vogt, Jr. and 1 nephew Jerry Nebel. Barbara requested that there be no services.
