Braxton Michael Marek was born silent into this world on June 6, 2026, but his little life spoke volumes. Braxton spent only a moment in her womb but he is forever in the heart of his mother, Gabriella Bolhous. “I carried you every second of your life & will love you every second of mine.” Is the perfect quote for the love and care Gabriella gave him during his short time here. Though his time was brief it was filled with love and hope. His memory will be forever cherished by his family who held him close in their hearts from the moment they knew of his coming. Braxton will be missed by his mother, Gabriella Bolhous; his father, Cameron Marek; his big brother, Carson; as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles and special friends that have become family.

There will be a service to honor Braxton’s life and show support to his family on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home, 110 South 7th Street, Oregon, IL with Pastor Dave Rogula officiating. There will be a time of gathering and visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of service.
