David R. Barnhart

David R. Barnhart, 71, of Mt. Morris and formerly of Leaf River, died Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Franklin Grove Living & Rehabilitation Center. Born July 16, 1950 in Oregon, the son of Russell and Norma (Bachman) Barnhart. David attended Leaf River Schools and was employed over 25 years at Quality Metal of Byron prior to retiring. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the outdoors. Survived by 3 daughters; sister, Elaine Van Dussen of Mt. Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Chuck Barnhart and Don Barnhart; and sisters, Marlene Barnhart and Darlene Bennett. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm Wednesday, August 18 in Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon
