Donald Edward Murbach, age 69, crossed over into eternal life in his home on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Don was born on January 22, 1955 to Donald Wilbur and Dolores Ruth (Wodach) Murbach in Chicago, Illinois. Don grew up in Mundelein, Illinois graduating in 1973 from Mundelein High School.

Don married his wife Beth (Engelmann) on Valentine’s Day in 1976. Don worked at AMMCO Tools in North Chicago, Illinois. He then worked for Commonwealth Edison (Exelon) at Zion Nuclear Power Station and Byron Nuclear Power Station until his retirement in 2017.

Don loved his family dearly and worked hard to provide for them. He gave up his time and talent where needed, taking weeks of vacation to work Rockford Sharefest.
