Everett W. Stoker

Everett W Stoker, age 24, formally of Byron, Illinois and Wasilla, Alaska died Monday, January 22, 2024. He was born March 5, 1999 in Anchorage Alaska and is the son of Paul and Sonja (Ward) Stoker. Everett attended Byron schools and graduated from Byron high school in 2017. He worked as an equipment operator for Timber Industries in Dixon, Illinois. In his youth Everett was a Cub Scout and enjoyed playing video games. while at Byron high school, Everett was on the swim team, and helped to set several school records. One of his favorite hobbies was watching stock car racing and talking and learning about pretty much anything automotive. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Tom and Trudy Ward, and his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Winnie Hillegas. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Sonja Stoker, Wasilla, Alaska, and his sister Kaila Stoker of Wasilla, Alaska. He is also survived by many aunts' uncles and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at the Byron Forest preserve on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM in Byron Illinois. In lieu of any gifts the family asks donations to be made to  “Everett suicide awareness fund” on Go Fund Me.
