Jessica P. Grover

Ashton, IL – Jessica Peryl Grover, age 48, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at her home near Ashton surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 9, 1977, in Rochelle, Illinois the daughter of Neil M. and Dorothy M. (Noffsinger) Grover. Jessica graduated from Dixon High School in 1996. She worked at Village of Progress in Oregon, Il for 23 years. Jessica was a proud member of the First Baptist Church in Rochelle where she looked forward to every Sunday so she could sing the hymns. She loved to do artwork on her posterboards and would share them as gifts to her friends and family. She loved music and watching her favorite TV shows including Golden Girls, Judge Judy, Gilmore Girls and cooking shows, especially Bobby Flay. She was predeceased by her father Neil Grover, brother Dean Grover, and her grandparents. She is survived by her mother Dorothy Grover of Ashton, IL; brothers Eric (Teresa) Grover of Chana, IL and Brent (Molly) Grover of Dubuque, Iowa; 6 nephews: Steven (Cambia) Grover, Lucas (Radeance) Grover, Rob Gruszeczka, Ryan (Cass) Grover, Payton Grover (Fiancé Laney), and Corey Grover-Petersen (Chris); great nieces and nephews: Wilder, Henley, Hunter, Hailey, Raelyn, Riddik, Grady, and Ridge Grover. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026, at First Baptist Church, 810 Woolf Court in Rochelle, IL with Pastor Doug Cowan officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at the church from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. Burial will follow the service at Lighthouse Cemetery near Oregon, IL. A memorial fund is established in Jessica’s name for Village of Progress and First Baptist Church of Rochelle.
