Kevin R. Unzicker

Oregon, IL ~ Kevin R. Unzicker, age 73 died Thursday, July 13, 2023 in the early morning hours.  He was born on May 1, 1950 at Deaconess Hospital in Freeport, IL the son of Paul and Jean (Schreiner) Unzicker.  During his life Kevin enjoyed working on computers, playing pool and spending time in the company of animals.  He was a devoted family man which included his cat.  Kevin was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul & Jean and his brother Harold Unzicker.  Kevin is survived by his son Marshall (Katie) Unzicker of Mt. Morris; daughter Kelly (Brian) Broederdorf of Woodstock, IL; step-son Keith (Kari) Feggestad of Caldonia, IL; step-daughter Mel (Al) Noon of Oregon, IL; former wife/friend Linda Monigal of Mt. Morris, IL; sister Sandy (Bob) Czarnowski of Rockford, IL; nephews Matthew and Simody Czarnoski; and grandson James.  Visitation services are to be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home of Oregon, IL.  A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Nathan Massie officiating, followed by Masonic Lodge services.
