Oregon, IL – Lisa A. Eden, age 53, a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister, died suddenly Monday, November, 9, 2020 at her home.  She was born June 13, 1967 in DeKalb, Illinois the daughter to Roger and Nancy (Montgomery) Buehler.  She graduated from Warren High School in 1986 and then graduated from Highland Community College.   Lisa married Mark Eden on Oct. 31, 1992 in DeKalb, IL.  For many years she worked at Kable News in Mount Morris, IL.  Most recently, she worked as a secretary for the O.C.E.C.  at the Chana Education Center.  Lisa was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Oregon.  She was an assistant 4-H leader the past 5 years for the Carefree 4-H Club.  She really enjoyed helping children with their 4-H projects and activities.  Her hobbies included making her own cards, baking, and reading.  She was also an avid card player.  Lisa will be remembered by her sense of humor, lighting up the room, and her smile.  She was predeceased by her grandparents.  She is survived by her husband Mark of Oregon, 4 children; Rebecca Eden of Park Falls,  WI, Michaela Eden, Chelsea Eden, and Levi Eden of Oregon, IL, her parents Roger and Nancy Buehler of Stockton, IL, siblings; Tina (Dale) Pierson of Elburn, IL, Rhonda (Alan Kent) Storey of Warren, IL, Ronald (Karla) Buehler of Apple River, IL, and Diane (John) Cassens of Byron, IL, and many nieces and nephews.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held with the Rev. Rich Tomlinson of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church officiating.   A memorial fund is established in Lisa’s name.
