Lori Kay Trenholm

Rockford, IL – Lori Kay Trenholm, age 65, died Monday, July 21, 2025 at her family home in Rockford. She was born July 15, 1960 in Oregon, Illinois the daughter to Merlyn and Hazel (Kness) Rothermel. Lori graduated from Oregon High School in 1979. She worked several years as a dispatcher for the Ogle County Sheriff’s Department and then worked for over 15 years for Snyder Pharmacy in Byron, IL. Lori loved to collect and make her own jewelry. She loved being with her family and cooking for them. She was an avid collector of everything Abraham Lincoln. She enjoyed reading, especially WW 2 History and anything related to Abraham Lincoln. Lori was predeceased by her parents Merlyn and Hazel Rothermel and her sister Cheryl Hess. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Phillip Starr of Rockford, sister Judy (Rick) Cline of Oregon, IL, Brother Rocky Rothermel of Mt. Carrol, IL, and her grand dogs Roscoe and Loki, and cat Simba. At Lori’s request there will be no services at this time.
