Mark R. Siebel

Mark R. Siebel, 62, of Rochelle and formerly of Oregon, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in Rock River Hospice Home, Sterling. Born August 4, 1958 in Chippewa Falls, WI, the son of Rudolf and Joyce (Hoople) Siebel. Married to Dothie Ignacio October 20, 1979 in Oregon. Mark was a 1976 graduate of Oregon High School and was employed for many years in sales and repair at RS Sew and Vac in Oregon. He was preceded in death by his father. Survived by his wife, Dothie Siebel of Rochelle; mother, Joyce Siebel of Rochelle; sons, Karl (Natalie) Siebel of Dixon, Dustin Siebel of Sterling and Anthony Siebel of California; grandchildren, Xoe Siebel and Liam Siebel; and sisters, Deb (Tom) Lower of Rochelle, Pam (Joe) Diehl of Dixon and Penny (Jay) Drumheller of Forreston. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon with Pastor Joy Alsop of Faith Lutheran Church, Rochelle presiding. A public celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a later date when conditions permit. In lieu of flowers, memorial funds may be directed to the family.
