Patricia A. Davis

Patricia “Pat” Ann Davis, age 80, passed away at Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford. She was born on May 29, 1946 to Frances and Mary (Aurand) Newhausen. Pat grew up in the Byron area and graduated from Byron High School. On April 11, 1969 she married Eric Davis and they had a wonderful life together for 57 years. Pat worked in accident reporting for Landstar Trucking Company and also worked at Amcar Bank. She had a creative soul and used that passion to craft greeting cards which she enjoyed selling at her local famers market. She was also known for making wonderful cakes and candy. Pat enjoyed the simple things in life like spending time with her family and friends. Pat was a genuinely happy person and will always be remembered for her upbeat personality. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Merle, Harold, Betty, and Jim. She will be missed dearly by her husband, Eric of Byron; son, Eric (Velvette) Davis of Byron; and grandchild, Kylan Springman of Rockford. No public services are scheduled at this time.
