Randall "Randy" G. Woodworth

December 25, 1989 — January 14, 2026

Byron

Randall G. Woodworth, born on December 25, 1989, left this world peacefully at his home on January 14, 2026. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle whose vibrant humor and playful spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Raised alongside his devoted sisters, who lovingly helped care for him throughout his life, Randy shaped their world in ways that cannot be measured. He taught patience, compassion, resilience, and above all, how to find joy in the smallest moments. Caring for him was never a burden, but a privilege that forever bound their lives together.

He was a graduate of Byron High School, Class of 2008.

A jokester, Randy loved nothing more than to evoke gasps from his nieces and nephews with boisterous noises that never failed to surprise them. They lovingly nicknamed him Uncle Bubby. He loved his family, and he delighted in spending quality time with them. Whether it was taking trips to the supermarket or journeying out of the house with his adoring nieces and nephews riding with him on his wheelchair, those moments were filled with laughter and warmth and are some of their favorite memories of him. Just like his dad he also loved the thrill of going fast especially around corners.

Randy had a great affection for simple joys in life. He loved listening to music and adored taking walks and cherished the sound of his favorite toys, especially if they were loud. He relished every moment spent with his devoted mom and playful dad and adoring sisters, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Though his time on Earth was far too brief, Randy’s impact was profound. He leaves behind the laughter, love, and memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those he cherished. While his physical presence will be deeply missed, the legacy of joy and humor he imparted will continue to shine brightly in the lives of his family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Randall Woodworth and Tommy and Beatrice King.

He is survived and missed by his devoted parents, Shawn and Robin Woodworth of Byron; sisters, Carrie (Greg) Bonte of Oregon, Holly (Robert) Hepfl or Clarksville, TN, and Krystal (Josh) Brandau of Ashton; grandmother, Jerre Woodworth of Cherry Valley; nieces and nephews; Angel (Brandon) Huddelston, Averi Bonte, Autumn Bonte, Aubri Bonte, Hailey Hepfl, Jacob Hepfl, and Austin Hepfl; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
