Rick F. Boyden

Oregon – Rick F. Boyden, age 74, passed away peacefully at home on September 10, 2026. He was born on February 5, 1952 in Rochelle, IL the son of Jack and Phyllis (Moulton) Boyden. He married the love of his life, Dinah Hogard in 1980. He worked as a butcher for many years for SuperValu in Oregon. In his spare time; he loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, and golfing with Dinah. He also loved going with her to garage sales. He cherished his time with her and loved doing life beside her until she passed away on July 5, 2023. Family was always important to him and he loved being a husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived and missed by his children, Jeff Boyden of Oregon and Amanda (Dave Newell) of Crescent City, FL; siblings, Chris Snyder of Byron, Jack Boyden Jr. of Oregon and Rich Boyden of Oregon; grandchildren, Matthew (Stephanie), Zach (Emily), and Christina (Brian); and great grandchildren, Eloise, Jameson, Finnigan, Kira, Annika, and Blake. Per Rick’s request no services are being held at this time.
