Robert "Rob" Daniel Wiener

STILLMAN VALLEY, IL ~ Robert “Rob” Wiener, 55, died suddenly at Swedish American Hospital of Rockford, IL, on Thursday, September 18, 2025. He was born April 12, 1970, in Rockford, IL, the son of Morris “Bud” & Patricia “Pat” (Moussa) Wiener. He attended and later graduated Oregon High School in 1988. Rob spent his life passionate about many things, like riding and working on his motorcycles, traveling, especially road trips with his wife, but most of all he was passionate about his family & friends. Rob loved nothing more than to be with his wife, siblings, and nephews, family was his everything.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bud & Pat, sister Susan, grandparents Bettye & Bebe Moussa, grandmother Sophie Wiener, dogs Wylie & Sasha, and dear friend Hugh Bisco.

Rob is survived and missed dearly by his loving wife Sarah Wiener of Stillman Valley, IL; brother David Wiener of Alexandria, VA; brother-in-law Ken (Lynn Lederman) Raskin of Minneapolis, MN; nephews Daniel (Ariel) Raskin of Brooklyn, NY, Aaron Raskin of Minneapolis, MN; great-nephew Moshe, and dear friends Brian Evans of Rosco, IL, and Gladys Bisco of Sycamore, IL.

Rob will be cremated, with no services pending at this time. In lieu of flowers the family asks you make donations to the charity of your choosing in Rob’s honor.
