She was born November 30, 1937 in Amboy, IL, the daughter of William Anthony & Marian Della (Weiner) Seitz. She lived in the area all her life and graduated from Oregon High School in 1955. A year after graduating, she married Thomas “Tom” Giles Klein on November 24, 1956 at the Oregon United Methodist Church of Oregon, IL.
