Timothy A. Reeverts

Byron, Illinois- Timothy A. Reeverts, age 57, died Monday, March 30, 2026 in Rockford, Illinois. He was born September 1, 1968 in Rockford the son of Kenneth and Roberta (DeShazo) Reeverts. Tim attended Byron and Mt. Morris Schools. He loved to be on the family farm near Byron. Tim was formerly active in 4-H where he showed dairy heifers. He also was an active participant in the Special Olympics competing in track, weightlifting, bocce ball, bowling, and basketball. He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Roberta Reeverts. He is survived by his brothers Todd (Gail) Reeverts of Winslow, IL, and Terry (Pam) Reeverts of Byron, IL; nieces and nephews: Austin, Cody, and Carli Reeverts, Tim Reeverts (fiancé Jennifer Heng), Matt Reeverts, Tara Gailey (Dan), Taylor Burke (Branden), and Ryan Reeverts (Taylor Hartke). A private graveside service will be held at the Ebenezer Cemetery with Pastor Randy Snider officiating. A memorial fund is being established for the Special Olympics.
