Wendy Jean Goodwin

Wendy Jean Goodwin, age 72, died Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at OSF St. Anthony medical Center in Rockford.  She was born April 11, 1951 in Dixon, IL the daughter of Raymond and Marilyn (White) Morris.  She graduated from Oregon High School in 1969.  Wendy had previously worked at Conover Square restaurant in Oregon and also the Oregon Health Care Center.  Her hobbies included reading, shopping, gambling, scratch off cards, and her window plants.  She was predeceased by her parents.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Allen (Christine) Goodwin of Dixon, grandchildren Alicia Goodwin, Zachary (Kelli) Goodwin, and Maegan (Forrest) Goodwin-Hlad, sister Marlene Walters of Albany, IL, 3 step grandchildren Layla, Timmy, and Nicky Person, nephews Larry, Danny, and Jimmy Walters, 2 great granddaughters Gracelynn and Madison Estes, 2 great grandsons Zachary Goodwin, Jr. and Jaxson Goodwin.  No services are planned at this time.  A memorial fund is established in Wendy’s name and may be directed to her family.
