Billie J. Fram, 83, of Byron, Illinois, peacefully passed away Friday, November 22, 2013, at Provena St. Anne's Rehabilitation Center, following a brief illness. She was born May 10, 1930 in Hillsboro, Illinois, the only child of John and Mildred Gorsage, both deceased. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1948 and married her high school sweetheart, George N. Fram, in Hillsboro on February 8, 1951. She worked in the banking industry, until they started a family, and then became a full time homemaker. Billie was a talented crafter in making ceramics, and in later years handcrafted jewelry.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, George N.; a son, George B. (Robyn) Fram of Roselle, Il; a daughter, Sara Zuhlke (fiancé Greg Lindsay) of Byron, Il; 3 grandchildren, George R. (Ashley) Fram of Maryland Heights, Mo, Dana Zuhlke of Rockford, Il, and Lisa Zuhlke of Byron, Il.

Memorial service will be held at Farrell- Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 506 W Merchant St., Byron, Illinois on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 3:00 pm, preceded by a visitation beginning at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials for the family to be donated to her favorite charities.
