Donna Oltmanns

Byron – Donna M. Oltmanns, age 85, died peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 at the Generations at Neighbor’s Rehabilitation Center in Byron.  She was born August 5, 1936 in Eldora, Iowa the daughter of Clifton and Helen (Bridges) Adams.  She attended Morris Kennedy School in Rockford.  Donna previously worked at Kable Printing in Mt. Morris and Greenlee Brother’s in Rockford.  She married Donald G. Oltmanns on January 8, 1955 in Rockford, IL.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Donna was predeceased by her parents, her husband Donald, son Steven Oltmanns, and sister Patricia Moyer.  She is survived by her daughters Terry (Gary) Banjac of Chandler, Arizona and Sandy (Jeff) Bain of Byron, Illinois, grandchildren; Amy (Chad) McDonald, Scott (Molly) Banjac, Alyse (Jason) Thibodeau, Heather (Eric) James, Kelsey (Jordan) Kellerman, Brianne (Brad) Drake, and great grandchildren; Trey and Kyra McDonald, Harper and Levi Thibodeau, Hadley and Asher James, Hallie and Avery Kellerman, and Bentley Drake.  Graveside Service for Donna will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Byron Cemetery with the Chaplin Willie Little officiating.  A memorial fund is established for the Serenity Hospice and Home.  Visit www.farrellhollandgale.com to leave a condolence or memory of Donna.
