Kevin Wubbena

January 26, 1971 — November 11, 2020

Oregon, IL

Kevin L. Wubbena, age 49, passed away at his home on November 11, 2020. He was born in Freeport on January 26, 1971 the son of Leonard and Joan (Miller) Wubbena. He was a standout athlete and All State linebacker at Foreston High School, graduating in 1989. He married Jodi Warren on December 31, 2008 in Oregon, IL. He worked for many years for Martin & Company in Oregon. Kevin was a large strong man. Who many would say was a stubborn giant. If you were lucky enough to know Kevin your first thought would be what an ---. Kevin was the type of person who was very strong willed and always had an opinion on how to do something. While the previous statements are 100% true. Everyone that truly knows Kevin; they know he is the biggest baby with the softest heart. A man that would walk 1,000 miles by your side if you asked him. (he might tell you that you were walking wrong along the way but he would be right there by your side). Kevin is a fantastic father of 2 Kenna and Kenzi and was the best husband. This world has not only lost a wonderful man but his family has lost a wonderful caring father, husband, son and brother. GOD BLESS YOU KEVIN L. WUBBENA. Kevin is survived by his wife, Jodi; daughters Kenna (14) and Kenzi (10); mother, Joan; sisters Angie (Brad) Rusnak and Anita Wubbena; in-laws, Jeff (Julie) Warren, Cathy (Richard Macchi) Warren, Keri (Josh) Johnson, Tod (Courtney) Warren, and Abbi Warren; nieces and nephews, Chris (Michelle) Scott, Colton (Jessica) Scott, Taylor Scott, Trevor Rusnak, Hanna, Cole, and Jack Johnson, and Henry, Ruby, and George Warren. He is preceded in death by his father Leonard, and great nephew Oliver Scott.
