Myles Maiman

February 18, 1996 — November 10, 2020

Stillman Valley, IL

Stillman Valley, IL – Myles Richard Maiman, age 24, died Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri following a sudden illness.  He was born February 18, 1996 in Rockford, IL the son to Bryan and Crystal (Ward) Maiman.  He graduated from Stillman Valley High School in 2014.  Myles and his family moved to Stillman Valley in 1999 from Rockford.  He was currently living in Kansas City, Missouri where he was working for FedEx.  He was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend to many. Myles was full of kindness, laughter and love. He almost always had a smile on his face and a joke at the ready. He was fiercely loyal to those he called family, whether by blood or bond. He worked hard and was always willing to lend a hand. If he wasn’t hanging out at home playing online games with his buddies, he was with his buddies playing online video games and making music. Myles was the vocalist in a local band named “Side Quest”. He had a fantastic voice and was getting good at the guitar too. Prior to High School, He studied the martial arts for several years and played 4 years of Junior Tackle Cardinal football. To our son, you are loved still now and forevermore. You filled our hearts with joy for the 24 plus years you were here, and although we obviously wanted more, that will have to suffice for now. We will miss hearing your beautiful voice, your quick wit, you're sense of humor and seeing your handsome face, but while your mother and I still draw breath, you will live on in our hearts. Until we meet again, we love you. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Karen Maiman.  He is survived by his parents Bryan and Crystal (Ward) Maiman of Stillman Valley, siblings Heather (Justin) Milburn of Stillman Valley, Casey (Valona) Sullivan of Plant City, FL, and Mariah Maiman (Fiancé Brody Jordan) of Kansas City, MO, Paternal grandfather Richard Maiman, Maternal grandmother Linda Ward (Jerry Huff), maternal grandfather Ira Ward, aunt Heather Maiman, uncle Terry Ward, godmother Lettie Thurman, godfather Darren Maiman, 4 nephews; Terrance, Lucas, Sean, and Spencer, and 2 nieces Mackinzie, Amika and grandnephew Colton.  A walk-through visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Red Brick Church at 207 Roosevelt Road in Stillman Valley, IL.
