Arnold Arthur Buse, age 96, died Friday, March 11, 2016 at the home of his daughter in Alamo, Texas, after a short illness. He was born March 24, 1919 in Adeline, Illinois to Arthur Simon Buse and Tena (Britsch) Buse. Arnold attended Oregon and Dixon schools and served in the Army Air Corps during WW II. He married Wilma Mae Lynch on March 1, 1946. Employed in a number jobs as a truck driver, farmer and factory worker (Piano Roll Factory in Oregon), he retired from the Ogle County Highway Department of 1984. He was a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church in Oregon.
Arnold was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Martin Buse of Oregon, and Edward Buse of Polo and a grand-daughter, Judith Eichman. He is survived by his son, Donald (Pam) Buse of Mt. Morris, IL; his daughter Lois Eichman of Alamo, TX; four grandsons, Jason (Angie) Eichman of Laurens, SC; Dustin (Samantha) Buse of Chicago, IL; Devon Buse of Ft. Hood, TX; and Cody Buse of Oregon, IL; 3 great-grandchildren, TJ, Elizabeth and Jennifer Urban of Laurens, SC and an anticipated great grand-daughter of Chicago, IL.
Services will be held Tuesday, March 15th at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Oregon, IL with Pastor Jack Briggs officiating. Visitation will precede services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon, IL.
